You could change the name on the table to “Any Company Anywhere” and still be accurate. Capitalism is always a blend of risk vs. reward and every company makes mistakes. JP Morgan lost a bit over 2 billion on one bet, but made a minimum of 6 billion on others this month alone.
This is a tragic snapshot of one event, but it does not represent the entire picture. If I take a photograph of a man in a dress at a costume ball, would it be fair to characterize him as a cross-dresser for the rest of his life?
